In Phases, I look at human stages of life and the nature of human connections. As we are moving through life, our courage, strength, and forgiveness are tested. A person who never experienced pain and helplessness, cannot understand the full nature of life and be willing to offer his supporting hand.
Influenced by my experience in the Oral History and Performance class in collaboration with CoLab and the Central Jersey Diaper Bank Organization, Phases “talk” about people supporting people, and communities are growing stronger and happier.

Dancers: Evelynne Chin, Elissa Lipovetkiy, Jonathan Lu, Jeffrey Mercado, Sophia Ricci, Alexander Silvis.
Music: Run by Ludovico Einaudi
Photographer: Elyse Mertz
Video: John Evans
